EUPSF GOVERNANCE

Affiliates are members of the Council of Affiliates with the
following rights: Voting during the General Assembly; Nominating a Board members; Approving the accounts, budget, and activity plan; Approving the annual
affiliation fees.

Transparency and ethical integrity are fundamental to our partnerships with Industry Affiliates (IA). Our collaboration is guided by the following principles:

Strategic alignement with EUPSF’s core objectives : All collaborative projects and activities are developed in line with EUPSF's vision, mission, and strategy, aimed at long-term improvements in patient safety. The EUPSF Council of Affiliates oversees project plans and development.

Independent Decision-Making: Commercial interests do not influence strategic or operational decisions. The development of the main projects involves a voluntary working group, guaranteeing a diversity of perspectives and the disclosure of potential conflicts of interest.

Scientific Integrity: EUPSF maintains an independent position on scientific matters, validated by the independent experts of its Advisory Board. Industry-sponsored grants are unrestricted, promoting unbiased research and education.

Ethical Promotion Standards: Materials developed through collaboration undergo joint approval for promotion, marketing, and publication, with clear acknowledgment of Industry sponsorship. Specific product or service promotion is not permitted.

Event Independence: Scientific programs for EUPSF events remain impartial, with Industry sponsorship recognised appropriately but without influence over content.
Open Collaboration: Exclusive partnerships are avoided with all Industry Affiliates having the opportunity to contribute to EUPSF’s action and projects.
